Sweeper Salary After 8th Pay Commission: From 1 January 2026, the 8th Pay Commission is expected to revise sweeper salaries using a fitment factor of 1.92 to 3.0 times, which may raise the minimum basic pay from ₹18,000 to around ₹34,500–₹54,000. This amount is the basic salary only and does not include DA, HRA, or other allowances.

Sweeper Allowances (Adjective):
1. Bonus: Employees receive an annual Non-PLB (Non-Productivity Linked Bonus), usually around ₹6,900, as per government norms.
2. Medical Benefits: Full family medical coverage is provided through CGHS for central staff or state health schemes such as Ayushman or state health cards.
3. Service Increment (SI): A 3% yearly increment is added to the basic pay every July or January, depending on the joining date.
