Allowance:
1. MSP (Military Service Pay): ₹15,500 per month, paid only to defence officers from Lieutenant to Brigadier. It is added to Basic Pay for DA calculation.
2. Flying Allowance: ₹25,000 per month for Army Aviation and Air Force pilots.
3. Siachen Allowance: ₹42,500 per month for officers posted in the Siachen Glacier.
4. Dress Allowance: ₹20,000 per year, paid once in July for uniform maintenance.
