Circle Officer Allowance:
1. Special Duty: Officers posted in high-risk or sensitive areas may receive ₹10,000–₹30,000 per month.
2. Hardship: Officers working on the border or in difficult areas receive an additional ₹8,000–₹25,000 per month.
3. Kit/Uniform Maintenance: An allowance of ₹1,000–₹2,000 is provided for the maintenance of uniforms and professional gear.

Circle Officer (DSP Rank) Training Salary: During training, a newly recruited Circle Officer (DSP rank) receives 100% basic pay of ₹56,100 per month under Pay Level 10. Some allowances, such as HRA, may not be paid if the officer stays in official training academy accommodation.
