2. Field / Conveyance: Mining Officers receive a conveyance allowance or an official vehicle with fuel support of 300–400 litres per month for field visits.
3. Risk / Health: Officers posted in underground or hazardous mining areas may receive a risk or health allowance as per state rules.
4. Telephone / Internet : Mining Officers are reimbursed about ₹1,000 per month for official phone and internet expenses.
5. Deputation: Officers posted to special projects or mining corporations receive a deputation allowance of about 10% of basic pay.

Training Salary (Probation Period):
In states like UP, Bihar, and Rajasthan, Mining Officers receive the full salary from the first month, with an in-hand pay of around ₹75,000–₹90,000 per month.
In Madhya Pradesh, probation is paid as a stipend, and in the first year, officers get basic pay of about ₹60,000 - 70,000 plus DA only.
