BPSC Salary after 8th Pay Commission (1.96 Fitment Factor):
From January 2026, a major revision in basic pay is expected for BPSC and central posts.
1. SDM / DSP / DTO / CTO: Projected basic pay of ₹1.09–₹3.47 lakh.
2. BDO / CO / RO / BES / LEO: Projected basic pay of ₹88,000–₹2.79 lakh.
3 .Supply Inspector / Marketing Officer: Projected basic pay of ₹69,000–₹2.20 lakh.
Allowances Update: On implementation, DA will reset to 0%, and HRA/TA will be recalculated on the revised basic pay, increasing the total salary.

Post Allowance:

3. Telephone / Mobile: To cover mobile and internet expenses.
4. Newspaper: For newspapers and magazines.
5. Deputation: Paid during election duty or deputation outside the parent department.
B. DSP (Police Service)
1. Uniform: Paid once a year (around ₹10,000).
2. Ration Money: Approx. ₹3,000 per month for food expenses.
3. Weapon / Rifle: Available in certain special units or battalions.
C. BDO, CO (Revenue), LEO (Level-7 Field Officers)
1.Project: Given to BDOs for supervising development projects.
2.Field: For COs and LEOs during inspections and field visits.
3.Office Maintenance: Provided where officers manage office or block accommodation themselves.

BPSC Training & Probation Salary: BPSC officers receive full salary and benefits from the first day of training. During the probation period, Level-9 and Level-10 officers earn around ₹80,000 in-hand per month, while Level-7 officers receive approximately ₹63,000 in-hand salary.
