Hospital Attendant Allowances (Excessive):
1. HPCA (Hospital Patient Care Pay): A mandatory non-DA payment given to non-ministerial hospital staff for direct patient care duties.
2. Uniform Support: Attendants receive an annual amount of around ₹5,000 for purchasing and maintaining official duty uniforms or scrubs.
3. Common Recruitment (AIIMS-CRE): Most Attendant posts are recruited through AIIMS CRE, ensuring a uniform pay structure across all AIIMS hospitals.
4. Other Payments: Additional earnings may include night duty or risk/hardship pay, depending on ward assignment and duty hours.

Hospital Attendant Training Salary & Probation Period:
Newly recruited attendants are placed on a 2-year probation and receive full basic pay of ₹18,000 plus DA during 1–3 months of training.
